Holocaust Memorial Ceremony

We invite you to observe Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, at our in-person 58th Annual Holocaust Memorial Ceremony. Commemorate the six million Jews who perished in the Shoah and honor the survivors living in our communities. The ceremony will include candle lighting, music, readings and prayers.

Kol Koleinu Fellowship
Applications Due: April 25, 2022
Moving Traditions is now accepting applications for the Meyer-Gottesman Kol Koleinu Feminist Fellowship. This is a distinctive opportunity for 10th through 12th graders to learn how to effectively speak their minds and create the change they want in the world. The fellowship is a national program offered in collaboration with NFTY and with support from USY. The deadline for applications is April 25.

OYR Commemorates Yom HaShoah: In Her Own Words

Honor the six million Jews who perished during the Holocaust this Yom HaShoah by hearing Sophie Rosenbaum’s incredible story of escape by the Vienna Kindertransport. Join virtually or in person to learn about Sophie’s journey through her own words as well as her son’s, Dr. David Bader.

Volunteer Cleanup at Har Jehuda Cemetery

Har Jehuda Cemetery
Do a mitzvah and volunteer with your community to repair some of our most historic local Jewish cemeteries. Volunteer tasks will include raking, picking up trash and clipping overgrown vines. The cleanup will end with a memorial service to honor all of those buried at the cemetery.
