This past fiscal year, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia invested more than $61 million in our community locally, in Israel and around the world. These funds include grant allocations, special allocations and Jewish Federation-run programs that provide vital resources and engagement for the community. This work is only possible with the generosity of people like you.
As part of our commitment to care for those in need in the Greater Philadelphia Jewish community, we collaborated with partner agencies to help combat poverty and food insecurity, support self-sufficiency and socialization for older adults and those with disabilities, and connect people with care management and social services.
By investing in partner agencies and programs in Israel and around the world, we remain connected with our global Jewish communities. Our support provides food assistance and community for those without, breaks socioeconomic barriers for people of different backgrounds, empowers diverse Jewish expressions, and promotes resiliency in areas afflicted with security threats or trauma.
We build and strengthen pathways that cultivate Jewish identity and help people connect with the larger community. Through our support, we foster personal, diverse, and deep-rooted relationships with Judaism by providing resources, education, and engagement opportunities to individuals throughout their life stages.
As we near the conclusion of the annual campaign and our roles as Board Co-Chairs, we thank those who have provided a gift this year. Your generosity will pave the way for a secure and vibrant Jewish future for generations to come. - Gail Norry & David Adelman
