The Results Are In 

Thank you to all who participated in the Jewish Federation's latest Mitzvah Food Program High Holidays Food Gift Card Drive:

• $12,466 collected in grocery store gift cards
  • $9,976 in gift cards distributed during Thanksgiving to families in need
  • $2,490 in gift cards distributed to 34 families of Ukrainian refugees

This drive was a part of our mission to care for those in need by reducing food insecurity.

See it, Say it, Report it

There's a new way to report threats, incidents and suspicious activity aimed toward our local Jewish organizations, facilities and community members. The new Incident Reporting Form from the Secure Community Network (SCN) better equips the Jewish Federation to keep our community safe and secure.

Meet and Greet

The Jewish Federation recently hosted its Israeli team for a local visit, meeting with colleagues, donors and partner agencies to connect those in Greater Philadelphia with our Israel operations. 

"Our Israeli staff had excellent meetings throughout the area, set up by our Kehillot colleagues, to gain a better understanding of both the Jewish Federation's geographic challenges of creating a Jewish community, as well as the diversity of organizations and synagogues within our five-county area," said Beth Razin, Jewish Federation's Associate Director of Israel and Global Strategies.

Showing Our Local Pride

Philadelphia was well-represented as one of the largest cohorts at the International Lion of Judah Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Lion of Judah, around 1,200 Lions from around the globe attended the conference.

“I felt inspired by our collective power as philanthropists and all that we are able to achieve when we combine resources," said Director of Women's Philanthropy Lindsay Davidman.

You have until December 31, 2022 to claim these funds before they are turned to the PA State Treasurer's office.
