"Hadar Goldin - The Final Peace" Exhibit
June 1 - 17, 2022 at the Kaiserman JCC
Experience the early works of military hero Hadar Goldin, an IDF soldier killed and held captive by Hamas during Operation Protective Edge. Hadar was a talented artist and writer whose work has been presented to the United Nations and shown through traveling exhibits around the world. The Kaiserman JCC and Jewish Federation, in partnership with the Consulate General of Israel in New York and the Hadar Goldin Foundation, are bringing the exhibit to the community for two weeks.

Israel & Jewish Life on Campus: The Latest Trends with Dr. Noam Weissman & Gabe Greenberg

Join Dr. Noam Weissman, Executive Vice President of OpenDor Media, and Gabe Greenberg, Executive Director of Penn Hillel, for a discussion about the latest trends regarding Israel and Jewish Life on campus. This workshop will give students tips on how to create engaged and meaningful dialogue about Israel and being Jewish on campus, inside and outside classes long before they get there. It will also introduce parents to the challenges students face today.

Theatre Ariel Presents Songbirds and Pomegranates

Enjoy a performance of Songbirds and Pomegranates, by actors from Theatre Ariel. With texts and music curated by Deborah Baer Mozes and Jesse Bernstein, Theatre Ariel reflects on the life, artwork and legacy of Hadar Goldin through a dynamic reading of poetry, theatre and contemporary Israeli folk and pop music.

JFRE at The Civic

Join the Jewish Federation Real Estate (JFRE) group for an evening of networking, drinks and appetizers at The Civic, an adaptive reuse of the former St. Joe’s Hospital. After over 100 years of being a public center for health and safety, MMPartners was able to save the hospital by converting it into 88 apartments with 35,000 square feet of commercial and retail space.

Cemetery Cleanup

Har Nebo Cemetery
Honor those at rest by joining your community for a cemetery cleanup at Har Nebo, a local historic Jewish cemetery. Volunteer tasks will include raking, picking up trash and clipping overgrown vines. The cleanup will end with a memorial service to honor all of those buried at the cemetery.
