Teaching the Holocaust, Empowering Students

How do we create impactful and thoughtful learning of the Holocaust with students? Participants will explore and gain access to a range of classroom content and consider instructional enhancements to support students' study and reflection of the history of the Holocaust and its ongoing meaning in the world today. This special session includes training with the “Echoes and Reflections” curriculum, which includes valuable information to help educators teach the complex issues of the Holocaust to today’s students.

Don’t put your costumes away just yet! Northeast Jewish Life's Purim car and walking parade will include community, music, shalach manot goodie bags and even more fun. There will also be a contactless opportunity for matanot l’evyonim, charitable gifts to the poor. Please bring Kosher canned or packaged non-perishable foods and toiletry items for a contactless donation to the Mitzvah Food Program.
